Threads download questions
How do I download a Threads video?
Copy the public post link from Threads and paste it above. Select Download to load the post, then choose Download original on the video you want to save. Available quality depends on the post.
Where do Threads videos go on iPhone, and how do I save them to Photos?
Check your browser's downloads and the Downloads folder in the Files app. Open the saved video, tap Share, then choose Save Video if that option is available. Downloading does not automatically add a video to Photos; the steps depend on your browser and file format.
Where can I find a Threads download on Android?
Open your browser's Downloads list or the Download folder in your file manager. Whether a video also appears in your gallery depends on your device and gallery app.
Can I download Threads photos or a carousel?
Yes. Load the public post and download each available photo or video. For posts with several media files, you can also try Download ZIP, limited to 10 files and 100 MiB. If ZIP is unavailable, save the files individually.
Do Threads share links and older threads.net links work?
You can paste public post links from threads.com or threads.net, including share links copied from the Threads app. Use the complete link. SiloSave needs to be able to read the linked post publicly.
Why did my Threads download fail?
Check that the full link opens the intended public post. Private, deleted, or restricted posts may be unavailable, and Threads may temporarily block requests. Try again later. If a file will not download, try Open original and your browser's save controls.
Can I also save post text, replies, or a public profile?
Yes. You can copy available post text and public replies, or export TXT, HTML, JSON, and CSV. Public profile exports contain only the posts Threads provides; partial results are labeled.
Can this Threads downloader access private or deleted posts?
No. The web downloader only reads content Threads makes publicly available. It does not bypass access restrictions.
